Chris Grassano is a Northern California wildlife painter, winning awards nationwide for her paintings. Whether depicting a White Kite hovering mid-air, a Red Tail Hawk perching high up in a Sequoia, or the moss and lichen on Serpentine rock where a field mouse huddles, Grassano takes us to new worlds in our home. She is a storyteller and a naturalist, painting in a style of playful realism. Choosing to paint on vintage library Oak hardwood and clay board, her paintings display a genuine love and curiosity of natural environments, with creative composition and technically superb craftsmanship.
In 2008 Grassano was selected for the Art And Animal Kingdom in Bennington, VT and her works are in various private collections throughout the United States.
