Sonoma County painter, Bobette Barnes, combines brush and palette knife in her energetic compositions of the local terrain.  Her legacy series is a beautiful tribute to the plum orchards that once graced the local landscape.

Bobbette Barnes finds beauty in gnarled old vines and plum blossoms that once blanketed our hills and valleys.

Barnes' artistic career started in the metal and fiber arts after attending the California State University Long Beach and the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
