Join Michel - Schlumberger Winery for Paint the Estate, a special evening of creativity and wine led by acclaimed Northern California landscape painter Ken Jarvela, represented by Erickson Fine Art Gallery. Jarvela’s work—featured in the Michel-Schlumberger tasting room since 2024—celebrates the wild beauty of the West, from towering redwoods and rugged coastlines to sweeping mountain ranges and quiet watersheds. A dedicated plein-air painter, he often ventures deep into nature to paint on location, capturing the shifting light and atmosphere of California’s landscapes with vivid brushstrokes and subtle color palettes.
During this guided painting session, Ken will lead guests step-by-step as you create your own interpretation of the Michel-Schlumberger Estate’s iconic bell tower—no experience necessary. Your Paint the Estate ticket includes all painting supplies, your first glass of wine, and a curated charcuterie spread to enjoy as inspiration flows. Spend the evening sipping, painting, and taking in the vineyard views while learning from one of the region’s celebrated landscape artists.
